We're looking for a Casual Dental Assistant to join our friendly team at 1300SMILES Rockhampton.
Job Description
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our dentists and clinical team while delivering outstanding care to our patients. This position involves a mix of chairside assistance, patient care, and maintaining a safe and efficient clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting dentists and dental professionals during a variety of procedures, ensuring patient comfort and smooth clinical operations.
* Providing attentive support and care to patients before, during, and after treatment.
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant clinical environment in line with infection control and health and safety standards.
* Sterilising instruments and managing the care, maintenance, and organisation of dental equipment.
* Contributing to a positive patient experience through professional communication and exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
* Experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not essential.
* Certificate III in Dental Assisting (or currently pursuing it) is a plus.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* A positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
* Must be available to work between 7.45 am to 5:45 pm
