About the role:

The Group Head of Operations plays a critical leadership role within Monash IVF Group, providing strategic and operational oversight across our national network of IVF Clinics and Day Hospital Units. This position ensures the consistent delivery of high‐quality services, operational excellence, and a best‐in‐class patient experience.

In this role, you will lead a team of Regional Managers and be accountable for driving operational performance, regulatory compliance, patient care standards, and workforce capability across all Monash IVF Group sites.

Operating at both strategic and operational levels, the Group Head of Operations translates organisational goals into practical outcomes, fostering a culture of compassionate care and continuous improvement. This role is key to ensuring our clinics operate efficiently, safely, and in alignment with organisational priorities and regulatory requirements - ultimately contributing to exceptional patient outcomes and the ongoing success and growth of the Monash IVF Group.

Whilst our Head Office is based in Cremorne, VIC, we welcome applications from candidates across Australia. The role will require interstate travel across our national network of clinics.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, your responsibilities will include:

* Providing strategic leadership to Regional Managers, ensuring they are equipped and empowered to deliver strong financial performance and achieve state‐level operational goals.
* Translating organisational strategy into meaningful direction for Regional Managers and teams, ensuring clarity, alignment, and shared ownership of priorities.
* Championing a culture of compassionate, patient‐centred care, ensuring consistent and positive patient experiences nationwide.
* Overseeing operational performance, resource utilisation, and financial stewardship across all states.
* Providing leadership oversight for major transformation initiatives, including digital uplift and new service integrations, ensuring teams understand their roles and deliver outcomes aligned to organisational objectives.
* Driving compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organisational standards across all clinical and operational environments.
* Fostering continuous improvement, innovation, and a strong organisational culture aligned to Monash IVF Group's values and goals.

Ideally you will bring the role:

You will be an experienced operational leader with a strong foundation in managing complex, multi‐site environments - ideally within the healthcare industry. Your ability to lead through influence, build trusted relationships, and drive high‐performance outcomes will set you up for success. Bringing emotional intelligence, strategic insight, and operational rigour, you will thrive in a role that requires sophisticated stakeholder engagement, sound judgement, and a commitment to patient‐centred excellence.

* 5+ years' experience in operational management or a comparable leadership role.
* Demonstrated expertise in healthcare operations, ideally within complex or multi‐site environments.
* Ability to lead, coach, and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
* Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence engaging at all organisational levels.
* Strong emotional intelligence and proven ability to build and sustain trusted professional relationships.
* Capability to navigate difficult conversations with integrity, respect, and openness.
* Strong influencing skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders within a complex organisational setting.
* A results‐driven mindset with a track record of improving operational performance and enhancing patient experience.
* Advanced problem‐solving capability, with sound judgement in addressing operational challenges and supporting strategic priorities.
* Competence with Microsoft Office and familiarity with Monash IVF Group systems (or an ability to quickly learn similar platforms).
