About the Role
We're partnering with a respected community-based mental health organisation to recruit an experienced Team Leader for their recovery-oriented accommodation support program in the Hunter region.
In this rewarding role, you'll provide leadership and operational oversight to a dedicated team supporting adults living with complex mental health challenges, often with co-occurring AOD and psychosocial needs.
You'll ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred services that promote recovery, independence, and community participation.
Base Pay Range
$100,******/yr – $105,******/yr
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Mental Health Support Workers.
Oversee day-to-day service delivery, ensuring best practice, compliance, and client safety.
Facilitate regular supervision, team meetings, and client reviews.
Collaborate with clinical services, carers, and community supports to achieve positive client outcomes.
Support staff development through reflective practice and a recovery-oriented framework.
Manage service delivery requirements, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
You're an engaging and supportive leader who thrives in a fast-paced mental health environment.
You balance strong people skills with excellent organisational ability, and you're confident navigating competing priorities between operational demands and staff support.
You Will Bring
Tertiary qualification in Mental Health, Community Services, Social Work, or related field.
Demonstrated leadership experience in a community mental health or recovery service.
Sound understanding of trauma-informed and person-centred practice.
Knowledge of psychosocial rehabilitation, dual diagnosis, and recovery frameworks.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
Valid driver's licence and current Working with Children Check.
