Senior Portfolio Manager
This role involves overseeing a diverse portfolio of properties, encompassing residential, commercial and industrial sites. The portfolio is geographically dispersed across Australia and New Zealand, held under various tenures.
Main Responsibilities:
* Strategic Management: Optimize the Group's leasehold and freehold property requirements by effectively managing the portfolio and implementing strategic operations.
* Risk Management: Collaborate with Downer businesses to minimize lease and acquisition risks, maximize efficient use of the portfolio, and reduce costs.
* Commercial Leasing: Conduct strategic and tactical analysis, advisory, and execution for commercial leasing.
* Capital Transactions: Handle acquisitions and divestments of freehold and leasehold properties.
* Support Functions: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, facilities management, and financial reporting.
Key Qualifications:
* Minimum 3-5 years' experience in corporate property portfolio management.
* Able to undertake Accommodation Needs Analysis and identify options/delivery models to satisfy property requirements.
* Demonstrated ability to implement property plans and negotiate best outcomes.
* Property project management experience preferred but not essential.
* Proficiency in Pro Lease or similar property lease databases.
* Strong networking skills with commercial property agents and managers across various geographical locations.
* Understanding of basic lease accounting processes.
