Earlier this year, building on the strong foundation of Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) as a fund manager, we introduced an optimized CIP Platform, with three platform companies providing services to CIP. To learn more, please refer to the CIP Platform section below.
In our optimized CIP Platform, CIP Terra Technologies – a project delivery company delivering projects from onshore wind, solar PV and battery energy storage systems, to bioenergy, thermal and transmission infrastructure – is currently looking for an Analyst, Global Finance to join our office in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Role
As an Associate, you will be closely involved in the development and construction of CIP’s renewable energy projects in Australia such as onshore wind, battery, solar or hydro projects. You will form part of the team and will help with analysis, presentations and decision material, for example by analyzing budgets, risks, schedules, delivering reporting for Steering Committee meetings with internal and external owners. You will assist with implementing project management standards and project delivery model.
Responsibilities
- Providing detailed analytics focusing on investment risk mitigation and value creation.
- Delivering high-quality performance and status reports to senior management.
- Collaborating closely with local companies and project partners to optimize project delivery.
- Analyzing project schedules, critical paths, and float assessments.
- Assisting with risk management plans and maintaining risk/opportunity registers.
- Ensuring project costs are tracked and analyzed to support key decisions.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who have completed a degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, or related fields, and possess 1-2 years of experience in project management, asset management, management consulting, or the renewable energy sector. Moreover, you are a highly responsible and motivated individual who is thriving in a highly effective and innovative environment.
- Structured approach with attention to detail; proficient analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to navigate technical, commercial, and financial disciplines.
- Effective communication skills in both spoken and written English; skilled in making complex matters easier to understand.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Highly organized process management with a focus on task prioritization.
- Experience managing complex stakeholder environments and senior management interactions.
