In this role, you'll work across a varied caseload, providing assessment, therapy, and intervention to NDIS participants of all ages, with a strong focus on functional communication, social skills, and swallowing/mealtime management where required.
You will work with a high degree of autonomy, while also enjoying collaboration with our multidisciplinary team.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver evidence-based speech pathology assessment and intervention for children and adults living with disabilityDevelop and implement tailored therapy plans that align with client goals and NDIS requirementsSupport clients in communication, language, speech, social interaction, and swallowing/mealtime safetyWork collaboratively with families, carers, and other health and education professionalsMaintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with professional and NDIS standardsManage your own caseload efficiently and independently, while contributing to a supportive team cultureAbout YouYou are a confident and capable Speech Pathologist who can work autonomously to maintain evidence based practice and support other therapists to communicate with clients in the best possible way.
You're comfortable working across paediatric and adult disability settings of varying complexity and have a genuine passion for helping people communicate and connect.Degree in Speech Pathology and current SPA membershipProven experience working with both paediatric and adult disability clientsStrong understanding of the NDIS and person-centred practiceExcellent time management and organisational skillsWell-developed interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary teamCurrent Working With Children Check (WWCC)Current Australian Driver's LicenceAccess to own vehicleWhy Join Us?
