Our dedicated pharmacists work alongside doctors, nurses and other health professionals in the multidisciplinary unit based approach to ensure our patients achieve the best possible outcomes from their medications. Clinical pharmacy services are aligned with the organisation's clinical program structure. This unit-based model underpins the excellence in patient care of our clinical pharmacy services. n Pharmacy provides a range of clinical and operational services in our acute, sub-acute, mental health and community health services, reporting through to the Executive Director, Operations (Chief Operating Officer). Under the guidance of Associate Directors of Pharmacy, rotational clinical pharmacists will work closely with senior pharmacists and clinical educators to deliver safe, personal, effective and connected care to our patients. The pharmacist is also expected to participate in all aspects of service provision, training and education, including attending and participating in education activities, and clinical supervision of interns and students. n The position also supports monitoring of local medicine budgets and provides guidance to prescribers on medication use. In addition, the role contributes to practice-based research and ongoing service improvement across the pharmacy and wider Directorate or Service.
