The Family
This busy, business-owning family has three children, including a 7‐month‐old baby who requires full‐time care. There are also two older children aged 10 and 13 who are independent and do not require care. Both parents are heavily involved in running their business, with one parent occasionally working from home. The household is well‐structured, and the family values reliability, initiative, and someone who can support both childcare and light household tasks.
Days, Hours, Start Date & Remuneration
* Monday to Friday
* 8:00am – 3:30pm
* Start: April 2026
* Hourly rate: Negotiable
* 12‐week contract (with review)
* Payroll details to be confirmed
The Role
* Primary care of a 7‐month‐old baby (baby comes first at all times)
* Supporting feeding, naps, and developmental play
* Light household duties including:
* Laundry (wash/fold family clothes; put children's clothes away)
* Unloading and reloading dishwasher
* Keeping kitchen surfaces tidy
* Occasional vacuuming or general tidying when time allows
* Running errands such as click‐and‐collect grocery pick‐ups
* Organising household areas (e.g., pantry, fridge, bedding) when time permits and baby is settled
The Ideal Nanny
The family is seeking a proactive, organised, and nurturing nanny who is confident caring for infants and understands that the baby's needs always take priority. The ideal candidate will be happy to support the household where needed, take initiative during downtime, and work efficiently while maintaining a calm and caring presence.
Qualifications/Requirements
* Experience caring for babies/infants
* Reliable, organised, and proactive
* Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks
* Comfortable around dogs (two small outdoor dogs)
* Confident working in a home where a parent may occasionally be present
* Ability to commit to a 12‐week position
* Hold a valid First Aid and CPR
* Hold a valid Working with Children Check
* Hold a valid National Police Check
* A minimum of 3 years experience working with children
