The Role
We are currently looking for a qualified Registered Nurse currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and with at least one full year of nursing experience.
Our Registered Nurses (RN) performs reception screening and comprehensive health assessments on persons received into custody whilst assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing management.
They work within Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (JHFMHN) and Ministry of Health policies, procedures and guidelines as well as Corrective Services NSW and Juvenile Justice NSW rules and regulations as set out in the relevant legislation.
Our Location
Riverina Youth Justice Centre is in Wagga Wagga. The centre accommodates a maximum of 45 young males, from the Riverina and South-Western areas of NSW, who are on control orders or remanded in custody.
