About the Role
The Senior Institutional Social Worker will be responsible for providing offence-focused social work services to remanded and sentenced prisoners. This includes contributing to the safe, secure, humane management of offenders throughout their custodial sentence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement individualised rehabilitation plans in collaboration with prisoners, prison staff, and external agencies.
2. Conduct needs assessments and provide evidence-based interventions to address offending behaviour.
3. Maintain accurate records of prisoner progress and contribute to the development of policy and procedures.
Requirements
