This is an extended recruitment pool to fill a dedicated rotational shift team which includes Day, Afternoon and Night shifts for Permanent and Fixed Term positions. Minimum 60 hours per fortnight (three nights). Fixed Term appointments include the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

Osborne Park Hospital (OPH).
Role context
Due to significant recent and planned expansions of surgical services, in addition to supporting Emergency Obstetric theatre cover 24/7, 365 days a year, we are seeking enthusiastic Registered Scrub/Scout Theatre Nurses with Anaesthetic and PACU experience with a minimum of twelve months' experience to join our team to provide high quality operating theatre nursing care.
Responsibilities
* Provide high quality operating theatre nursing care as a Registered Scrub/Scout with Anaesthetic and PACU experience.
* Rotate through each area in OPH theatres as part of a multidisciplinary team to support the patient journey.
* Upskilling will be provided for PACU and Anaesthetic experience if not already held; meeting mandatory requirements through supported development.
* Support 24/7 Emergency Obstetric theatre cover and other surgical services as part of an extended pool.
* OPH services include ENT, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics (including arthroplasty), Plastics, Urology (including robotics) and Vascular, as well as Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Surgical and other facilities are undergoing expansion, including Birth Suites, Neonatal Unit, High Dependency Unit and two additional theatres.
Qualifications and requirements
* Registered Nurse with Theatre Scrub/Scout, Anaesthetic and PACU skills; minimum 12 months' experience.
* No APHRA restrictions; eligible for AHPRA registration.
* Mandatory theatre skills; upskilling provided where required.
* Not able to sponsor visas for overseas applicants, however may provide supporting documentation for successful overseas applicants who are eligible for AHPRA registration for independent Australian visa applications.

* Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for permanent positions. Fixed-term appointments require documentary evidence of entitlement to live and work in Australia for the contract period.
