Profectus is seeking .NET Developers across junior, mid, and senior levels to support a major Australian Government agency in delivering its FY2026-27 Digital Identity Program of Work. This is an opportunity to contribute to nationally significant digital infrastructure, working within multidisciplinary agile teams alongside APS staff and other vendor partners. The agency operates a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) delivery model, and all personnel will be expected to work collaboratively in blended teams to deliver against Program Increment commitments.
Key Requirements
* Design, develop, and maintain robust backend web services using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, WPF, WCF) within a complex, multi‐layered architecture
* Apply enterprise architecture principles, standards, and reference models to ensure alignment with business and technical strategies
* Deliver solutions demonstrating ownership of end‐to‐end delivery from design through to deployment and monitoring in production
* Promote and apply Test‐Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour‐Driven Development (BDD) to ensure code quality, maintainability, and early defect detection
* Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites across unit, integration, system, and end‐to‐end levels
* Practical programming experience in .NET (C#), SQL, XML, and package management tools (e.g. NuGet, npm)
* Implement and manage continuous automated testing integration using Microsoft tools such as Microsoft Test Manager, TFS, and MSTest
* Participate actively in all Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, estimation, reviews, and retrospectives
* Experience with Xamarin (C#) for mobile development
* Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, SpecFlow, Protractor/Karma, and Cucumber
* Experience mentoring others in development and testing practices

* Must hold a minimum Baseline security clearance at commencement (1 July 2026)
