The Opportunity
As Finance Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in safeguarding and strengthening the financial sustainability of Kambu Health.
Working closely with the Executive Director Corporate Services, CEO, Board, and leadership team, you will provide clear, practical financial insights that inform strategy and support confident decision-making. You will focus on non-government funding budgets and overall financial performance, supported by an external accountant.
This is a role with influence at executive and Board level and where your advice will help shape the organisation's future.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy and Performance
* Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, particularly across non-funding budgets
* Deliver accurate, timely, and insightful financial reports
* Provide analysis that supports strategic planning and long-term sustainability
* Monitor financial performance, cost structures, and profitability
* Maintain strong cash flow and financial reserves
Leadership and Collaboration
* Lead and mentor the finance team
* Support executives and non-financial managers with clear, practical advice
* Present financial information confidently to the Board
* Strengthen systems, processes, and financial governance
* Support clean audits and continuous improvement

About You
You are a forward-thinking finance leader with a strong commercial mindset, skilled at using financial insight to drive organisational performance and ensure long-term sustainability.
You are confident engaging with Executives and Boards, providing clear, practical advice that supports informed decision-making. You can translate complex financial information into language that is accessible and actionable for non-financial stakeholders. You lead with integrity, accountability, and a calm, solutions-focused approach.

What You'll Bring
* Qualifications by experience
* Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is highly desirable
* Strong budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash flow management skills
* Experience advising non-financial stakeholders at a senior level
* Excellent communication and relationship-building capability
