Bakehouse Delights is seeking highly a skilled Pastry Chef with experience to join our team.Key responsibilities:-Baking and preparing rolls ,muffins ,cookies ,pies, cakes ,croissants ,Danish pastry, scones ,bars,Quiche, Tarts ,Tartlets and other baked items.-Reviewing the production schedules to determine the variety and quantity of goods to be baked,checking and assembling of raw materials and equipments needed for daily baking activities.-Weighing, kneading, maturing, cutting, mounding, mixing, placing, proofing and shaping thedough and preparing the fillings for the pastry.- Forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling of the batches of the baked itemslike rolls, muffins and other items.
* Icing, frosting, creaming, spreading, sprinkling, glazing and decorating the baked items.
* Determining and monitoring the baking time for the items, oven temperatures and their
appearance.- Using, emptying, cleaning and greasing the baking trays, tins and other cooking equipments andoperating machines.- Ensuring the cleanliness of the cooking equipment's and area and following the occupationalhealth and safety regulations.-Examining and reporting any problems and needs of the equipment's, food supplies and anyother unusual conditions.
