**Area Manager Role Summary**
We are seeking a values-driven Area Manager for the Northern Regional area of Victoria, including Bendigo, Albury/Wodonga, Shepparton and Benalla.
The successful candidate will provide leadership to the areas retail teams, and support to Regional Managers and other key stakeholders to drive delivery of strategic and operational objectives.
This is a permanent, full-time role that offers opportunities for career growth and development.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership to the areas retail teams and support to Regional Managers and other key stakeholders.
* Drive delivery of strategic and operational objectives, including sales, surplus, safety and community engagement.
* Collaborate with Regional Manager in setting area and store specific strategic agendas, aligning to Salvos Stores' Regional and National strategy.
* Monitor and manage the performance of all stores and provide direction and support to ensure performance standards and targets are met.
* Develop, monitor, achieve and manage sales, expenditure, stock and production KPIs and surplus budgets for the Area.
* Manage new store openings, renewals and closures aligned to Regional and Area strategic plans.
* Lead and oversee compliance of Salvos Stores policies and procedures.
* Drive recruitment of volunteers and employees to meet the need of the organisation.
**Requirements**
* Desirable Qualifications:**
* Diploma level qualification in Management, Business or Retail (desired).
