About the Role
We are seeking Commercial Project Electricians to join our Wide Bay operations in 2026.
These roles will form part of the initial team responsible for delivering commercial projects and supporting Power Up's continued expansion into the region.
You'll be working across a variety of projects ranging from $100k - $3m, contributing to high-quality installations, site coordination, and maintaining strong client relationships.

What You'll Be Doing
* Execute and coordinate electrical scope on commercial construction projects
* Lead and support apprentices and other electricians on site
* Manage and liaise with subcontractors (Communications, Security, AV, Solar, etc.)
* Assist with project scheduling to ensure on-time, cost-effective delivery
* Work closely with clients, builders, and consultants to meet project requirements
* Ensure safety, compliance, and high-quality workmanship on all tasks
* Mentor junior team members as the regional team grows
* Assist with troubleshooting and resolving onsite electrical issues
* Maintain accurate records, documentation, and project reporting

What We're Looking For
* Qualified Electrician with commercial project experience (minimum 3–5 years desirable)
* Strong leadership qualities with the ability to guide small teams
* Confidence liaising with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
* Solid understanding of electrical standards, codes, and safety practices
* Strong organisational skills — able to manage workloads and support project delivery
* A team player who takes pride in quality, communication, and professionalism
* Willingness to be part of a growing region with long-term career opportunities
