Role Description
This on-site role as a Support Worker is based around Logan - Brisbane South and Rochedale areas. The Support Worker will provide direct care and assistance to individuals, helping them achieve their personal goals and enhance their quality of life. Key responsibilities include delivering day-to-day support with care and skill and safety in mind, enhancing well‑being, and fostering meaningful engagement to promote independence and happiness.
Qualifications
* Experience as a Support Worker and a solid understanding of safeguarding practices
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships
* Technical aptitude to provide basic technical support as needed
* Knowledge of mental health support and disability care
* Empathy, patience, and a client‑focused approach
* Relevant certifications (minimum Cert III) in community services, mental health, or disability support
* Current First Aid and CPR certifications are an advantage
* Driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle is a must.
