Your Responsibilities
* Support Strategic Research Initiatives: Assist in planning, coordinating, and delivering Faculty projects across various stages of the project lifecycle.
* Coordinate Events and Meetings: Organise workshops, prepare materials, and provide administrative support for academic leadership teams and committees.
* Develop Stakeholder Relationships: Maintain strong connections with internal and external partners, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
* Prepare Reports and Documentation: Draft written reports, create presentation slides, and assist in preparing project materials for senior leadership.

* You are a well-organised and proactive professional with excellent communication skills, capable of managing multiple projects in a dynamic research environment while collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Possess a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent industry experience.
* Have experience in project administration or executive assistance, preferably in a research, university, or healthcare setting.
* Demonstrate strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
* Excel in written and verbal communication, with the ability to interact effectively across all organisational levels.
* Be proficient in standard application software, including Microsoft Office suite and video conferencing tools.

About Our Team – Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences
The Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry & Health Sciences is made up of 6 schools, with an enviable research record and is the University of Melbourne's largest faculty in terms of management of financial resources, employment of academic and professional staff, teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate (including research higher degree) students, and the conduct of basic and applied research.

This role requires the successful candidate to maintain a Working with Children Check, which can be applied for as part of the onboarding process. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
