About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled General Counsel who can provide commercially focused legal advice and partner effectively with business teams in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have significant transactional experience, preferably in an in-house environment, working on a wide variety of commercial contracts.
Responsibilities include:
* Legal Advice and Guidance: Providing expert advice to senior management and stakeholders on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, contract negotiation, and employment law matters.
* Contract Management: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with clients, vendors, and partners to protect the company's interests.
* Risk Assessment: Identifying and assessing legal risks associated with business strategies and operations, and developing risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
* Corporate Governance: Advising on corporate governance matters and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* 5-7 years PQE relevant in-house legal experience in a high-tech company or commercial law firm.
* Proven experience in drafting, negotiating, and managing SaaS agreements, Terms of Service, procurement, partnership, professional services, and intellectual property agreements.
* Strong ability to provide commercially focused legal advice and partner effectively with business teams in a fast-paced environment.
* Familiarity with local employment law and providing legal support on employee relations.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines.
