About the Position
We seek an experienced and passionate Assistant Retail Manager to help lead our team and work closely with the Retail and Pharmacist Managers. You will be a key support to the Retail Manager, ensuring efficient day-to-day running of the store, making sure that our customers receive outstanding service, and that Roma Pharmacy continues to thrive!
Responsibilities:
o Using your flair for visual merchandising to create appealing displays, execute marketing campaigns, maximise sales.
o Support the Retail Manager in supervising a team of Pharmacy assistants and complete opening and/or closing procedures.
o Assist with banking reconciliation, stock management and administration and business financial reporting needs.
o Maintain a safe and clean environment for customers and staff
About You
Our ideal applicant will possess the following:
o Confident in leading a team in a fast-paced retail environment - preferred
o Previous experience working as Pharmacy Assistant- highly regarded
o Certificate III or IV in Community Pharmacy - highly regarded
o High competency levels using various computer applications, including operating POS system
o A clear understanding of staff rostering requirements and store budgets
o Solution-focused
o Strong interest in health and beauty
o Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude
o Experience working with and achieving budgets and KPI's
o Excellent communication skills
o A desire to continually grow and develop your career within Retail Pharmacy
o A passion for retail, particularly beauty, health and wellbeing
o Ability to assist in any area of the Pharmacy, including orders, counter service, telephone service, dispensary and store merchandising
o Knowledge of Pharmacy operations and Retail best practices
