Worthy Engineering is a mining services repairer, operating a team of over 70 employees from large workshop facilities in Kalgoorlie and Perth. Responsibilities
* Prepare surfaces (cleaning, sanding, masking, etc.) for painting
* Apply primers, paints, and protective coatings using spray guns and other tools
* Operate and maintain painting and blasting equipment
* Perform quality checks to ensure finish meets required standards
* Mix paints to specified colours and consistencies
* Maintain a clean and safe work area
* Assist with basic maintenance and workshop duties as needed
Requirements
* Candidates must hold current valid Australian work rights
* Proven experience in industrial or automotive painting (preferably with heavy equipment)
* Knowledge of surface preparation, paint application techniques, and safety protocols
* Ability to read and interpret job specifications and safety data sheets
* Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
* Physically fit and able to work in a workshop environment
* Forklift tickets (desirable but not essential)
