Role Overview
Entry Level CMT Technician
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure quality assurance and workplace safety.
- Adjust effectively to new work structures, processes, requirements or cultures.
- Share information and ideas, looking for opportunities to help and support others.
- Perform a manual labour‐intensive role including heavy lifting.
- Travel between local offices as required.
- Work effectively under pressure, prioritising work to meet client demands.
- Perform a variety of manual tasks in the field and in the laboratory, including preparing and testing soil, aggregates & concrete samples.
- Liaise with the Coffey Testing client onsite on testing schedules, procedures and results, representing the Coffey Testing brand.
- Maintain or exceed expected competency benchmark levels, including safety, accuracy and productivity.
- Ensure accuracy of test results and timely output of work.
- Attend rostered work times punctually in a fit for work condition.
- Hold a current manual driver's licence (advantageous).
Qualifications
- Unwavering commitment to quality assurance and workplace safety.
- Physically fit and able to perform a manual labour‐intensive role with heavy lifting.
- Flexible to travel between local offices as required.
- Can work effectively under pressure, prioritising work to meet client demands.
- Looking to start a rewarding career in construction materials testing.
- Ability to work autonomously and displays self‐motivation.
- Manual driver's licence (advantageous).
