Strategic Electronic Medication Management Specialist
This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of electronic medication management systems at state and national levels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert advice on matters relating to Electronic Medication Management (EMM) in acute care settings.
* Develop high-level strategic direction for decision-making and statewide implementation of EMM systems.
* Cultivate deep understanding of Queensland Health (QH) medication management business practices or acquire that knowledge rapidly.
* Possess comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, national and local standards, policy, and procedures applicable to medication management, with ability to translate into an implementation plan.
* Demonstrate a proven understanding of medication management and roles of different professions in providing quality medication services within public hospitals.
* Proven ability to communicate strategic and operational messages with key stakeholders, including clinicians and eHealth teams.
Mandatory Qualifications, Licenses, and Requirements:
* A tertiary qualification in Pharmacy or equivalent from an Australian University or overseas institution approved by the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
* Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Ability to participate in on-call roster arrangements, if required.
* Visa conditions must be disclosed if not a permanent resident of Australia.
