They are dedicated to long-term relationships built on trust, performance, and professionalism.As a Senior Equity Trader, you will play a central role in ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and integrity of the Trading Desk. 
This is a hands-on position within a small, high-impact team where you'll be responsible for executing investment strategies, providing tailored trading solutions, and maintaining oversight of all trading activities from initiation through to settlement. 
The role requires a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is comfortable managing time-sensitive execution within a compliance-driven framework.ResponsibilitiesExecute trade orders for listed equities and other listed instruments as instructed by Portfolio Managers and Financial Advisors.Conduct daily reviews and audits of trading activities, ensuring accuracy and reconciliation with client portfolios.Implement portfolio rebalancing to maintain strategic allocations.Liaise with external brokers and service providers to optimise execution and remain informed on market and regulatory developments.Coordinate bulk trade campaigns across client portfolios in collaboration with internal stakeholders.Facilitate unlisted product transfers and book builds, ensuring deadlines are met.Perform funding and cash balance checks for unlisted applications and capital calls.Prepare worksheets and allocation summaries for Portfolio Managers.Assist with quarterly portfolio reviews, analysis, and implementation.Monitor client cash flows, liquidity requirements, and asset allocations against risk profiles.Provide performance summaries and analytical support to advisers and managers.Reconcile cash and investment records post-trade execution.Maintain compliance records and support process improvements to enhance trading efficiency.About You – Qualifications, Skills & ExperienceEssential:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.Experience with trading platforms and order management systems (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv). 
Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.Collaborative mindset with strong time-management skills.Desirable:Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (CFA, FRM, CAIA).3–5 years' experience in institutional trading in Australian or global markets.Familiarity with data analysis tools and XPlan.A competitive remuneration package will be tailored to the successful candidate.Base salary + superannuationDiscretionary bonus programFlexible work-from-home optionsFunded professional training and developmentEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)
