Infradebt is looking for an undergraduate student to work as a paid intern in its Canberra office. The position is open to students who expect to complete their university studies at the end of 2026.
About Infradebt
Infradebt is a specialist infrastructure debt fund manager with circa $1 billion in funds under management. We focus on providing project finance to infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on decarbonisation. Infradebt manages a range of investment strategies and mandates including the Infradebt Ethical Fund (IEF), which is Australia’s first ethically screened infrastructure debt fund. The fund’s portfolio includes loans to a diverse portfolio of renewable energy and social infrastructure projects.
Infradebt’s clients range from some of Australia’s largest superannuation funds, through to family offices and foundations. The firm’s approach focuses on selecting investment opportunities based on a deep understanding of the project, the infrastructure sector in which it operates (renewables, ports etc) as well as broader macroeconomic conditions.
A core tenet of the firm’s capability is genuine collaboration and diversity of thought and ideas contributing towards the final investment thesis. Thus, building the diversity of the firm’s investment team is an important component of firm’s long-term strategy. This internship is part of this strategy.
