In this permanent role, reporting to the Head of HR you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient, effective, and safe functioning of the office.
You'll also support the Leadership Team and contribute to the broader strategic direction of the Melbourne-based teams.Responsibilities:Office ManagementCoordinate and manage all aspects of office operations, including vendor relationships, building management, and service standards.Serve as the first point of contact for external visitors and internal office needs.Maintain office records, supplies, and equipment, including IT assets and access cards.Organise DSDA team events, town halls, leadership meetings, and training sessions.Liaise with Corporate Traveller for travel arrangements.Purchase Order & Vendor ManagementCreate and manage purchase orders for various departments including HR, Marketing, Sales, and Finance.Ensure timely processing of payments and maintain vendor relationships.Monitor and renew expiring purchase orders to ensure continuity.HR & Safety SupportCoordinate onboarding and IT setup for new team members.Lead local HR initiatives such as People Survey, Great Place to Work campaigns, and Diversity & Inclusion events.Actively participate in the Oceania WISE (health and safety) committee to promote a safer workplace.Leadership Team SupportProvide administrative support to the DSDA Leadership Team including travel planning, meeting coordination, expense claims, and vendor sourcing.
About You You are a detail-oriented and resourceful Office Manager with a passion for creating a well-run and welcoming workplace.
You thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy building strong relationships across teams.Ideally, you will have:A certificate qualification in business administration or a related field.Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role within a business context.Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills.High level of initiative, integrity, and ability to manage confidential information.
