Sign Writer Job Description
The Sign Writer is responsible for creating high-quality visual communications that effectively convey messages to diverse audiences. This role requires a combination of artistic and technical skills, as well as strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and produce signs using computer software, sign making machines, and manual techniques.
* Create custom artwork, including wall murals, vehicle graphics, and screen prints.
* Apply paints and coatings using various materials such as lacquers, varnishes, and enamels.
* Install signs on-site, including working at heights.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in graphic design, fine arts, or related field preferred.
* Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and sign making machines.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work at heights.
