Senior Telecoms Engineer
Job Summary:
We seek an accomplished Senior Telecoms Engineer to lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge communications projects. Based in Brisbane, Australia, this role demands expertise in radio sites, IP nodes, fibre optic, and copper-based transmission systems.
* Create high-level and detailed technical documentation for various projects.
* Execute hands-on work involving equipment configuration and integration on multiple routing and switching devices.
* Participate in factory and site testing and commissioning activities.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive project success.
* Analyze and resolve complex network issues.
Requirements:
* A Network Engineer with CCNP/JNCIS/JNCIP certification and a minimum of 10+ years' experience.
* An engineering degree enabling full membership to Engineers Australia.
* In-depth knowledge of Cisco routing and switching technologies.
* A strong understanding of IP/MPLS, BGP4, and OSPF protocols.
* Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and multitask in fast-paced environments.
