With its innovative aquaculture practices and combined 100 years of experience as ocean farmers, we are dedicated to supplying the world with the freshest, finest Western Australian seafood.The RoleWe have an exciting prospect for an Accounts Assistant to join our team based in Perth.This role is to provide day-to-day support with sales and purchasing including customer supplier coordination, delivery logistics and general administration.
Tasks include creating sales invoices, preparing reports, coding expenses, and liaising with customers, suppliers and colleagues to keep the business running smoothly.Key ResponsibilitiesRecord and maintain business\'s daily financial transactionsManage Accounts Receivable - invoicing, payment tracking, and debt collectionAssist with Accounts Payable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger taskPrepare weekly payroll reports for approval in timely mannerSupport the team with the asset register, inventory, and monthly reportingSupport the Group Finance Team with month-end closing, ensuring all transactions are recorded and ready for reviewTackle ad hoc finance and administrative tasks and help streamline processesAbout YouSkills and Experience: This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic, proactive and diligent and will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.The successful candidate must have permanent and unrestricted rights to work in Australia.Must have a minimum of 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (experience using MYOB AccountRight is preferable, however experience with similar accounting software packages will be considered)Organised, detail-focused, and able to pick things up quicklyProficient in Microsoft Office suite of productsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAble to start the workday early (typically around 7am) to support daily delivery planning in Australia.What's in it for you?
