Box Office Administrator

Permanent Part Time - 15 hours per week

Band 4 Salary Range: $37.25 per hour plus 12% superannuation

Location - Gippsland Performing Arts Centre Traralgon

Department: Creative Venues Events & Tourism

An exciting opportunity exists for a Customer Service Officer at the Gippsland Performing Arts Centre in Traralgon.

The role

As the Box Office Administrator, you will provide exemplary and personable customer service ensuring a professional image at the foyer/reception/box office to all patrons and visitors to the Gippsland Performing Arts Centre (GPAC) and other creative spaces.

You will manage all customer requests and queries in an efficient and timely manner to support the efficient operations of all creative venues.

This position is responsible for the GPAC Box Office. You will also assist visitors at the Visitor Information Centre which is located at the Gippsland Performing Arts Centre.

The successful applicants will be willing to work on a rotating roster including weekends and evenings.

To be successful in this role you will have:

* Demonstrated administration experience including skills in basic math and cash handling, as well as correspondence and report preparation.
* Experience providing excellent customer service to a diverse range of customers
* Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills

All successful applicants are required to undergo a Police Check and hold a valid employee Working with Children Check.
