Facility Manager
**Job Description Summary**
The purpose of the Facilities Manager is to deliver facility management and life cycle management to all Client Commercial, Retail and Industrial properties across multiple sites and States. Facilities Management includes both strategic asset management services and the day to day operations of the portfolio to ensure no unplanned outages. In addition, this role supports the National Services Manager in achieving client outcomes and contributes to innovation initiatives across the portfolio.
**What You Will Be Doing**
The Facilities Manager
- assists in providing operational Facilities Management Services. This role will be the key contact involved in day to day operations including but not limited to. Key tasks include but not limited to:
- Planned (preventative) and reactive facility management to your nominated portfolio
- Life cycle management, operational budgeting and capital planning
- Management includes both strategic asset management services and the day to day operations of the portfolio to ensure no unplanned outages
- Vendor and client relationship Management
- Develop in conjunction with procurement, vendor category strategies for the critical portfolio
- Meet and exceed project delivery targets (timeframes and quality)
- In addition, this role supports the National Services Manager in achieving client outcomes and contributes to innovation initiatives across the portfolio
- The control, induction and supervision of Subcontractors and Third-Party Suppliers are of utmost importance in managing the risk associated with FM & Critical Environment Services
**About You**
You will be a self-motivated individual that can work in a team environment and autonomously. You will also be proactive in the delivery of services to meet or exceed the project KPIs and mitigate any project abatement risk. Minimum requirements include:
- At least 5 years' experience in facilities management or a related discipline
- Client relationship experience with a strong focus on customer service
- Knowledge in one of the major core areas, facility management or corporate real estate
- Strong contractor management experience
- Tertiary qualifications preferred and a willingness to undertake further study in Facility Management is required
- Self-motivated, flexible and adaptable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
