The Role
You’ll be the welcoming face of our Lismore branch, helping walk-in customers, answering inquiries, and guiding people toward the right product solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage reception duties, including answering inbound calls and general inquiries
- Perform banking, act as timekeeper, and upload safety/competence records in Oracle
- Coordinate with internal teams (credit, delivery, technical) to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with showroom administration and maintain accurate records
- Conduct pre-production calls to customers and scan/upload completed sales orders into Oracle
- Develop product knowledge from technical specifications through to installation advice
- Create accurate quotes using V6 software and process smaller sales
- Follow up on leads and help convert showroom visits into confirmed orders
- Meet key targets around quote accuracy, follow-up, response time, and customer satisfaction
About You
You’re eager to learn, not afraid to ask questions, and motivated to provide a positive customer experience. You’re technically minded, comfortable with numbers, and just as confident at a computer as you are face-to-face with customers.
- Friendly, professional, and eager to learn
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software
- Enjoys helping people and providing excellent customer service
- Motivated to grow your skills and take on new challenges
- Attention to detail and ability to follow processes
- Experience in a trade, technical field, or sales is a bonus but not essential
This role can also be a stepping stone into a Sales Representative position within the G.James Group for those who want to grow.
