Diesel Mechanics
to join a long-term civil maintenance project on a mine site in
Gove, Northern Territory
. This FIFO role offers excellent pay, lifestyle balance, and a unique location.
Candidates should be experienced and trade-qualified diesel mechanics with at least 2 years of experience working with fleet vehicles. Reliability, a strong work ethic, and a proactive attitude are essential. Additionally, candidates must have full working rights in Australia with no restrictions on work hours.
Highlights
* $60.00 per hour (flat rate) + super paid on all hours
* Meals and accommodation are provided
* 3:1 roster
* 10 hour days, 6 days a week position
* FIFO from Darwin, Brisbane or Cairns only
* Work for a reputable company with ongoing work
Requirements:
* Trade Qualifications as a Diesel Mechanic
* Experience with late model heavy plant
* Experience working on Komatsu Excavator & loader
* Experience working on Toyota 4x4 and Trucks (Volvo & Isuzu) or similar
* Demonstrable Trade experience and great references
* Full working rights in Australia
* Great attitude, reliable and proactive personality
* Experience working with various types of fleet and machinery
* MUST have a HR licence
Responsibilities
:
* Service, repair and maintenance of fleet and machinery
* Assembly and disassembly
* Assisting the team where necessary
* Complete ad hoc duties as assigned by the site supervisor
