About the role:
WTC is seeking a skilled, enthusiastic, and motivated Finance Administrator to join our team in Narrabri. This full-time role offers a minimum of 38 hours per week, with additional overtime available as required. We're looking for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a strong foundation in finance and administration.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for:
· Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment tracking, and customer account reconciliation.
· Prepare internal reports aligned with key performance indicators (KPIs).
· Perform financial reconciliations across bank accounts, intercompany transactions, and supplier statements.
· Assist with basic statutory reporting obligations, including BAS preparation and payroll compliance.
· Support month-end processes and maintain accurate financial records.
· Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely reporting.
· Assist with general administrative tasks as required.
Desirable Skills and Experience
· Strong understanding of accounts receivable and financial reconciliation processes.
· Familiarity with statutory reporting requirements (e.g. BAS, superannuation, payroll).
· High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial documentation.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Xero highly desirable).
· Excellent organisational and time management skills.
· Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
· A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
