Maintenance Manager Role
Lead critical maintenance services for civil infrastructure, rock pools, fleet, plant and metal fabrication teams. Foster a culture of safety and prioritize the delivery of maintenance for all civil assets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Embed work health and safety and environmental compliance throughout operations and workshop management.
* Oversee the continuous improvement of Council's workshop, fleet, plant equipment and metal fabrication facilities.
* Lead response to community incidents and act as liaison with emergency services.
* Collaborate with Infrastructure Strategy and Planning to enhance asset condition assessment and maintenance planning.
* Implement intelligent defect management for road corridor assets.
* Champion improved work-management practices to deliver efficient and high-quality customer-focused services.
About the Position:
A strong background in civil engineering or related discipline is required, along with proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans and experience managing high-performing teams.
Excellent problem-solving skills and commitment to fostering a positive team culture are essential, as well as mentoring staff and collaborating across stakeholders.
