Lead Registered Nurse – General Practice
Permanent Full-Time | $85,000 - $89,000 per annum + Superannuation

About the Role
You'll join a busy, multi-disciplinary general practice with :
A large GP team of 12
Dedicated skin specialists
Visiting specialists & Allied Health
A nursing team of 6–8 RNs & ENs
The practice uses Best Practice software and is currently trialling the MyGPMP Tool to enhance chronic disease management and care planning.
The patient base is primarily older and lower-socioeconomic, meaning you'll have a meaningful impact through ongoing chronic disease management, wound care, medicals, immunisations, and preventive health.
Key Responsibilities
As the Lead Registered Nurse, you will play a vital part in the clinical leadership team, supporting both operational flow and nursing development.
Your duties include :
Acting as the clinical go-to for the nursing team
Working closely with GPs and senior leadership
Overseeing stock ordering & supply management
Supporting rostering alongside the Practice ManagerAssisting with recruitment and onboarding of new nursing staff
Helping foster a positive, collaborative team culture
You'll be working hand-in-hand with the Practice Manager in a supportive, integrated leadership model designed to empower both roles.
Hours & Flexibility
Full-time, 38-hour week across rotating shifts such as :
8:30 am – 4:00 pm
9:00 am – 5:00 pm
9:30 am – 5:30 pm
Start date : As soon as possible.
Salary $85k - $89k per annum + superannuation (DOE).
