HR & Payroll Compliance Administrator Permanent | Hybrid 1 day in office per week Are you a detail-oriented administrator with experience in HR or payroll systems like Chris21 and Kronos? Do you enjoy variety in your day, solving puzzles, and being part of a large, supportive team? We're looking for a proactive and organised HR & Payroll Compliance Administrator to join our dynamic environment. About the Role: Sitting within the Compliance team, this role supports the broader payroll function by ensuring all data and documentation is accurate, complete, and up to date. You’ll handling everything from onboarding and salary changes to system updates and data validation. This is not a traditional payroll processing role — it’s a varied and engaging position for someone who enjoys structured admin work but also loves to investigate, problem-solve and improve processes. What You'll Be Doing: Downloading and processing onboarding documents, contracts, salary changes, and work rights checks Inputting new starters and salary movements into Chris21 for checking by the payroll team Managing manual leave uploads and supporting automation testing in that area Creating and updating positions in Chris21, including reporting lines and structural changes Investigating and resolving discrepancies between SuccessFactors, letters of offer, and contracts Liaising with People Advice/HR teams to ensure data accuracy and correct documentation Supporting upcoming projects around automation of onboarding and leave uploads Participating in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) as we roll out improvements What We’re Looking For: Strong admin experience with excellent attention to detail and time management Prior use of Chris21 and/or Kronos Someone comfortable with process-driven work who’s also not afraid to speak up when things don’t look right A curious mindset — you’ll question inconsistencies and follow up to get them fixed Flexibility and willingness to learn as we test and implement new systems Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a larger payroll structure This role is perfect for someone with a strong admin background and an interest in HR/payroll who’s looking for stability, variety, and the chance to grow alongside new systems and processes.
