Your opportunity
As a Customer Service Officer, you’ll support and empower clients of all backgrounds. Working side by side with people who go the extra mile, you’ll also enjoy helping children and adults who need us. Here’s how you’ll do it:
- You’ll greet clients, attend to all counter and telephone enquiries
- You’ll cover reception and undertake general administration duties including booking client appointments, processing claims, data entry and monthly reports
- You’ll liaise extensively with our clients comprising children and adults, including those with complex needs, and clients from multicultural and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds
- You’ll perform minor hearing aid repairs and troubleshooting
- You’ll assist Clinicians with the provision of clinical services by proactively identifying client needs, offering professional advice and demonstrating the use of hearing aids
What you’ll bring

- Experience as a proactive problem solver with a desire to take ownership of your work
- Intermediate/advanced computer literacy and some exposure to mobile technology (Apple and/or Android)
- A desire to work within an organisation that contributes to the greater positive and provides rewarding work, making a difference to the lives of our clients and their families
- A flexible attitude with readiness to cover additional hours for planned and unplanned staff leave
- A dependable, can-do attitude with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in different team environments and able to adapt quickly

Requirements
We will require the successful candidate to be willing to undergo a Police Check (paid by us), hold a current driver’s licence, and have the right to work in Australia.
