Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Expert to join our high-impact engineering team. As a Staff Systems Engineer, you will design and develop robust, scalable microservices using GoLang, with exposure to TypeScript/React.
This role is ideal for a hands-on technologist who thrives in building systems that are reliable, secure, and efficient. You will contribute to system architecture and engineering strategy, build and maintain RESTful APIs and cloud-native solutions using AWS, and implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Artifactory).
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve engineering processes and tools, provide technical leadership and mentoring to other engineers, and monitor system performance using tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
A strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices is essential for this role. You should have experience with source control and CI/CD tools: GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Artifactory.
Solid understanding of RESTful API development and deployment, as well as passion for improving engineering practices, systems, and processes, are highly valued in this position.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* 8+ years of professional experience in software/system engineering.
* Strong expertise in GoLang.
* Experience with JavaScript, AWS, SQL, microservices, and system design.
* Proficiency in source control and CI/CD tools: GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Artifactory.
* Solid understanding of RESTful API development and deployment.
* Passion for improving engineering practices, systems, and processes.
Bonus/Preferred Skills
* Experience with React, C#/.NET, Azure, Node.js, Python, and shell scripting.
* Exposure to monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
* Familiarity with enterprise IT systems and large-scale engineering environments.
