The Opportunity
Airfirst Air Conditioning & Electrical Pty Ltd is seeking a Service Supervisor to join our team in Cairns, Queensland. As the Service Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing the service, maintenance and repair of air conditioning and ventilation systems for our extensive customer base in commercial, industrial and domestic settings.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Service Manager to supervise a team of technicians and ensure all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards
* Support our Service Coordinator in the scheduling and dispatching of service calls to meet customer needs
* Support the Service Manager in preparing quotations for service, maintenance and repair scenarios
* Provide technical support and guidance to the service team, troubleshooting complex HVAC issues
* Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant safety and industry regulations
* Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert advice
* Maintain detailed records of all service and repair work and meet customer KPI's
* Assist with the implementation of new HVAC technologies and process improvements
* Carry out all duties in accordance with the company's Integrated Management System
What We're Looking For
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a service supervisor or lead technician role
* Strong technical knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including troubleshooting and repair
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team of technicians
* Proven track record of delivering high-quality service and maintenance solutions
* Relevant trade qualifications and licenses (e.g. HVAC, electrical)
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
