Karratha-Based Crane Operator (5:2 Roster)
We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Crane Operator to join our team at the Yara site in Karratha on a local 5:2 roster. The role requires confidence working in a high-risk operational environment and proven experience across the mining and construction industry.
You bring a minimum of three years' experience in site-based operations, with strong capability in crane operations and rigging. You understand the importance of compliance, follow procedures without compromise, and contribute to a disciplined, high-performing crew.
What You'll Bring To The Team
* CN candidates who hold Advanced Rigging on their HRWL
* CO candidates who hold Intermediate Rigging on their HRWL
* Current Dangerous Goods Security Card (WA) required or ability to obtain
* Working at Heights not required for this role
* Local residency in Karratha (subsidy applicable)
What You'll Be Doing
* Operating cranes on-site at Yara, supporting the site's operational requirements
* Performing lifting operations in strict accordance with site procedures and safety standards
* Assisting with rigging tasks when required
* Conducting pre‐start checks, maintaining equipment, and reporting faults or hazards
* Contributing to a safety-first culture and a high-performing crew
