Media Sales Manager – Advertising & Sponsorship

The role
This is a full time, Sydney based role, although interstate candidates will be considered for the right person.
We are seeking a Media Sales Manager to manage and grow advertising and sponsorship revenue across our industry leading healthcare titles, while contributing to the broader commercial objectives of Positive Impact Media.
This is a hands-on sales role suited to someone who enjoys building long-term client relationships, developing tailored advertising solutions and working across both brand-led and performance-driven campaigns.
You will manage a mix of existing advertiser relationships while actively developing new business across suppliers, service providers, allied health organisations, disability sector businesses and government-adjacent organisations.
Key responsibilities
Manage and grow an existing portfolio of advertising and sponsorship clients
Identify, pitch and secure new business opportunities across print, digital, eDMs, sponsored content and bundled campaigns
Develop tailored, solution-led proposals aligned to client objectives and budgets
Work closely with editorial, production and marketing teams to deliver high-quality campaigns
Attend industry events, expos and networking opportunities to build market presence
Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting and CRM records
Contribute ideas for new advertising products, packages and partnerships
What we are looking for
Proven experience in B2B media, advertising or sponsorship sales
Demonstrated success in both new business development and account management
Confidence selling across print and digital advertising products
Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to tailor solutions for clients of different sizes
Ability to quickly understand complex sectors such as disability, assistive technology, allied health or health services
Highly organised, self-motivated and comfortable working independently
Willingness to attend industry events and meet clients face-to-face where possible
Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot experience advantageous)
Familiarity with digital advertising formats, eDMs and sponsored content
Strong communication skills and a relationship-first mindset
