We're looking for a driven Electronics Engineer to join our Manufacturing Engineering team in Silverwater. In this role, you'll design, implement, and maintain manufacturing test systems that support both new product introductions and high-volume production.
You'll play a key role in ensuring product quality, improving manufacturing processes, and solving real-world production challenges—helping us deliver the performance and reliability RØDE is known for.
What You'll Be Doing
* Design, develop, and improve assembly and manufacturing test systems for new and existing products
* Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
* Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and design optimisation
* Implement and validate design and process improvements through testing and analysis
* Conduct peer reviews of hardware and software test systems to ensure alignment with product requirements
* Perform DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) to identify and mitigate risks
* Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of designs, processes, and analysis outcomes
What You'll Bring
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
* ~3+ years' experience in electronics engineering, design, or a related field
* Strong understanding of electronic circuit design, PCB layout, and manufacturing processes
* Proficiency with ECAD tools (e.g. Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCad or similar)
* Programming experience in C++ or Python
* Strong analytical thinking with a hands‐on approach to problem‐solving
* Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
* Ability to manage and deliver improvement projects
* Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across cross‐functional teams
* Experience with firmware development, microprocessors, or embedded systems
