About the Role

As our new
Associate Director, Regional Coordination
, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-impact, cross-agency government initiatives that improve the lives of people across regional NSW - specifically the Riverina Murray region.

Sitting within the
Infrastructure and Regional Coordination branch, Delivery and Engagement group
of the
Premier's Department
, this role drives place-based delivery of NSW Government priorities through collaboration with agencies, local councils, communities and industry.

You'll be responsible for coordinating regional efforts to support service delivery reform, managing whole-of-government programs, and providing strategic advice on regional issues. You'll also lead a small team, build trusted relationships with regional stakeholders, and support executive and ministerial engagement, including visits to the region.

We're Looking For

* Strategic Leadership:
Experience leading regional initiatives across government or complex organisations, with the ability to turn priorities into practical, place-based outcomes
* People and Team Management:
Proven ability to lead and develop dispersed teams to deliver high-impact results
* Program Delivery:
Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-agency programs from planning to implementation, with strong governance and reporting skills
* Stakeholder Engagement:
Skilled in building trusted relationships with councils, industry, Aboriginal communities, and local organisations
* Communication & Problem-Solving:
Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to navigate diverse interests and drive collaborative solutions
* Government Knowledge:
Solid understanding of NSW Government processes, ministerial engagement, and whole-of-government initiatives
* Qualifications & Requirements:
Relevant tertiary qualifications are desirable. A current driver's licence is essential, with regular regional travel required.
