Looking for the next challenge in your career as a consumer peer worker? Interested in a leadership role? We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Consumer peer worker to lead and support the growth of the peer workforce across our community mental health services.
Working alongside the family/carer peer work supervisor, you will work closely with community mental health service managers to support the growth of the peer workforce across our community mental health services. You will provide professional leadership, mentoring, and reflective supervision, and support the recruitment, orientation and ongoing professional development of the consumer peer workforce. You will have lived experience of mental illness and recovery, experience of undertaking direct peer work with consumers, and skills in mentoring and supervising others.
**Location**
The position will be based in Dandenong, but will be required to travel across all sites, and so a full driving license is required.
