Your new roleThe Cloud Technology Specialist is responsible for the delivery, operation, and continuous improvement of Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms. The role ensures cloud services are secure, resilient, well‐governed, and aligned with organisational and digital transformation objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a subject matter expert and escalation point for cloud‐related incidents and issues.Provide technical input into solution design, architecture, and, monitor, and optimise Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.Lead and coordinate upgrades, enhancements, and cloud service changes.Develop and maintain cloud governance, security controls, and operational disaster recovery planning and business continuity for cloud with stakeholders and vendors to ensure effective service delivery.Identify opportunities for automation, optimisation, and continuous improvement.Contribute to cloud strategy, roadmaps, and capability uplift initiatives. What you'll need to succeedEssential Skills and ExperienceDegree in Information Technology or equivalent industry experience.4-6 years' experience supporting Enterobacteriales IT environments.Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Azure IaaS/PaaS, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and PowerShell.Sound knowledge of security, compliance, and cloud governance principles.Strong communication skills and the ability to engage non‐technical stakeholders.Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances.DesirableMicrosoft or Azure industry with infrastructure automation and Infrastructure‐as‐Code.Knowledge of identity and access management and ITIL practices.Experience supporting cloud platforms in complex or regulated environments.
