About the Role
As Quality Officer, Lung Function you'll contribute to leadership and support of a high-performing team, maintain top-quality standards to meet accreditation, and help develop innovative lung function testing and research. You'll make a real impact on patient care and lab excellence.
Maintain quality systems for laboratory accreditation
Develop and introduce new procedures and practices
Supervise scientific, technical and admin staff
Liaise with clinicians, vendors and external partners
Support research and education initiatives
About You
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Quality Officer, Lung Function who thrives in a high-quality laboratory environment and enjoys managing quality systems and leading teams while supporting accreditation, research and innovation.
Hold a Bachelor of Science or Applied Science in Medical Laboratory Science
Eligible for associate or ordinary membership of ANZSRS
Experienced with pulmonary function testing and laboratory quality systems
Apply analytical skills to solve problems and improve processes
Communicate confidently with staff, clinicians and external partners
