Overview
The Registered Nurse provides person-centred, evidence-based nursing care that promotes positive health outcomes. The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team. The role involves working in therapeutic and professional relationships with individuals, families, groups and communities.

Location: Shoalhaven, on Dharawal and Yuin Country. ISLHD operates three hospital sites: David Berry Hospital, Shoalhaven Memorial Hospital and Milton Ulladulla Hospital.
Salary: $72,152.53 - $101,299.48 per annum + 12% super & salary packaging.
Temporary full-time position is for parental leave relief until 13 September 2026 with the possibility of extension at the same or reduced hours.

Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred, evidence-based nursing care that promotes positive health outcomes.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary team.
- Work in therapeutic and professional relationships with individuals, families, groups and communities.
- Assist in the supervision and support of less experienced clinicians and maintain professional accountability and development in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board Australia’s Standards of Practice.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Current AHPRA Registration.
- Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role.
- Valid NSW Driver’s Licence.
- Ability to work in a team and uphold NSW Health CORE values.
