Star Aviation is seeking a HR Advisor or HR Coordinator who is ready to take the next step in their career as a HR Business Partner!
This role is responsible for building and fostering meaningful partner relationships with a designated client group. Providing advice and support to managers and employees, there is an important focus on workforce relations, employee experience, talent management, injury management, and supporting with projects and change management initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:

* Pro-actively implement strategies for sourcing, attracting, and appointing employees
* Developing leaders and employees through internal training/coaching and supportive practices
* Coordinate the induction and onboarding of new starters
* Providing accurate advice on employee relations and industrial relations matters
* Assisting with grievances, disputes, conduct and performance matters
* Providing advice and interpretation of applicable Awards and legislation
* Ensuring ongoing compliance with legislation changes
* Assisting with workers compensation and injury management/prevention
* Creation and updating HR policies and procedures
* Providing statistical reports and analysis of key HR metrics and trends
* Support and contribute to HR projects and change management initiatives

Skills and Experiences:
You will be an ideal candidate for this role if you have…
* A relevant qualification in Human Resource Management or related discipline
* Demonstrated knowledge of en-to-end HR functions
* Knowledge and practical application of Australian employment legislation, regulations and best practice
* High level verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to interact confidentially and professionally
* Ability to proactively build strong and trusted workplace relationships
* Exceptionally well organised, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
* Demonstrated high level analytical thinking problem solving skills and initiative to solve complex workplace issues
* Highly focused on attention to detail
* Ability to perform effectively in a fast paced and dynamic work environment
* Proficiency in English
