We are searching for a Service Technician, based out of our newly established Townsville Service Workshop as part of our regional growth in North Queensland. This role will be based in a workshop with field service necessary when required. The role is based on a 38-hour week and may require travel to sites as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* teardown, repair assembly, modification, calibration and diagnosing of all brands of mechanical and safety valves in addition to;
* responsible for associated paperwork, executing valve diagnostics, utilising digital control valve technologies and associated tools such as AMS / Valvelink & Valvelink mobile, and or PSV testing reports documented for submittal to customers,
* providing customer support with regard to field services, maintenance services, inventory management, customer training and focus on building and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with other product divisions,
Requirements:
* Trade Qualification in Diesel Fitting, Fitting and Turning or Boilermaker (Required)
* Familiar with the use of power tools, hand tools & use of workshop machinery
* Basic administration skills and computer literacy
* Forklift license
* Current Drivers License
* Valid working rights in Australia
